I was divorved and remarried in Canada to a US Citizen. I am still using my ex-husband last name while I am in the Immigration process to come to the States. We're now living in Champaign County in Illinois. I need help regards this matter. Thank you!

When you remarry you can start using your new husband;s name. You don;t have to retain the name of your previous husband. It doesn't take a court proceeding to start using your new husband's name. You can submit your marriage certificate to US Immigration as part of the process and change your name on the US Immigration papers to confirm to your new husband;s name.
